Allowing users to extend WordPress with custom plugins and themes is a major benefit because with these avenues available to us, our only limit to what we can produce is our imagination…
Loprest hired Ryan to upgrade our company’s website. He took an old static brochure format one and made it an active dynamic one. It now has multiple pages and easy to follow links throughout. He took our pictures and put them into a creative format. Salesman no longer have to carry brochures, everything is on the website. Our site now exceeds our competitors. I have recommended Ryan to other business owners.

It has been such a pleasure working with Ryan. Not only is he a brilliant developer who comes up with solutions without making excuses, he is very timely with when he says he will deliver the project. From a designer’s standpoint, its so refreshing to work with a developer who will pay such close attention to detail and stay true to the comps. Ryan is a great communicator and really cares about making his clients happy. I highly recommend him!

So this is a short post I am making as a minor addition to my last tutorial on Creating an Ajax Contact Form with jQuery. There was a great question comment left that I did not think to address, and I think it would be h[...]
Website built on HTML5 and CSS3 with loads jQuery enhancements.
Goal was clean and well structured infrastructure for a professional yet modern feel.
This site was a custom WordPress theme. Major modifications included implementing a jQuery slider with mouse-over hovering, custom slideshow built from the Cycle plugin, and an adaptation of the Coda Plugin for the post areas to paginate. All content is editable by client via ‘panels’ in the visual post editor.
Client produced a complete PSD file mockup of their site and wanted it to function as WordPress Theme.
I used Photoshop to slice images and convert into a functional HTML/CSS website, enhanced with jQuery.
Then converted into a full WordPress theme.
All handcoded in Textmate using XHTML, CSS and jQuery.
Custom built WordPress site, used a lot of custom fields to achieve the functionality the client needed.
This was a modification of a WordPress theme by Obox Designs.
Client wanted more functionality including a custom plugin to slide/lightbox post images.
