I am excited to launch this new section on my site today, the Freebies have arrived! I spent a lot of time building this first addition to my free section, a complete HTML/CSS site template with a ton of jQuery enhancements. Totally free!
Now that seems like a lot of fun to play with. I hope that someone finds this helpful, useful or at least fun, I would love to make more.
I know, the pictures here show some sweet stuff, but you wanna play with it I know, so click below for the demo!
Please, download it, modify it, use it, whatever you want! Tell a friend, leave comments, let’s go!
See it in action!

A new beta web app was quietly launched last night. Quietly I say because it could very well be the calm before the storm. As I think and hope you agree, that this is the kind of fun app we love to have on retainer.
Now Twitter is beyond a social annoyance tool, the networking options both social and business alike are off the charts and toss in the potential friendships made with every new follower, and the benefits grow further! But, what happens when the magic number begins to drop? You see your follower count inching lower wondering what is happening? Were they just bots being cleaned out? Did they not like my content or do I simply smell? Well ladies and gentelmen, wonder no more!
I am sure we all remember a few weeks ago the 14 Days Of jQuery leading up to the release of jQuery 1.4. During that time they were kind enough to run a promotion where if you donated more than $20 to the project you would receive a free e-book! An great idea and I thank the awesome jQuery team for their service to the web development community.
Concrete5 is a Content Management System that I actually stumbled upon accidentally. I say stumbled because for the most part they do not advertise and rely on word of mouth promotion. I have since built a couple of sites with the CMS and have been thrilled at its ease of use and robust functionality. One downside is that, being such a quiet endeavor, the community is nowhere near the size of some other fan bases, and thus 3rd party add-ons, including themes, are very limited. Seeing as how a big reason to use a CMS is for folks who are perhaps less code savvy to be able to handle their own stuff, the ability for a simple re-skinning would be nice, and my aim here is to bring that one step closer by helping others make more themes for Concrete5 to use. With that being said, lets get going!
